Possible to reconfigure Streamzap remote? (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to change the mapping of a Streamzap remote without shelling out money for Girder? Maybe there's a free open source app that I missed through my searches, but it would be nice to be able to reconfigure the remote in a way that would be more useful to me.

My relevant system specs are:
OS: Windows XP Home SP2
MP version: 0.2.3
Remote: Streamzap with Streamzap receiver

Nevermind, I found EventGhost to work out rather nicely once I got it figured out. The only questions I have about that now are about the "OemGate" and "Oem8" commands... what are they?
