Possibly real stooopid Q regarding PS3 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have MediaPortal running nicely on a PC. I have a PS3 connected to TV.
Is there any way to get the PS3 to run the MediaPortal possibly through HTTP and act as a kinda dummy terminal.

I know the PS3 has got uPNP and it works nicely, but I want a better GUI.

OK, does the lack of response mean its not possible to run MediaPortal GUI through a PS3?

Not really possible as far as I know - although you could run some uPNP/transcoding software on the PC and then share any music/videos etc that are on th ePC with the PS3

Yeh, thought so. That's how I have it currently, upnp with TVersity. I just wanted the fancy graphics, covers, etc of MediaPortal streamed over to the PS3.

I think I'll build HTPC system for the living room. This will be fun, haven't even built a normal PC for years!
