I would love to see other peoples music views.

Can you guys post your favorite Music Views, that whole not reinventing the wheel thing

Edit: I don't really have anything to post yet, still trying to figure out what I like...

The views "out of the box" are pretty good. The only things I change are to get rid of the grouping by first letter, except in "Track" (or is it "Song"?) view and to change album lists wherever they appear to use "Album" view (list with medium-sized icons).

I use the same modifications as rsbrux with one addition.
In the Albums view I sort the albums by artist instead of album.
This way the albums of the same artist are grouped together.

Hello, this view seems to suit me best but having tried to use it today I see it lists album name first then artist name. I'm probably being a bit stupid here but how do I switch it round?

So I see from another helpful post on here that I want it like this

but Snow Patrol and Eyes Open would be the other way around.

Welcome to the MP forums.

The positions of the album and artist string are hardcoded, it can not be configured somewhere.
I hope you can get used to it.

You could play around with :
<textXOff>n</textXOff>
<textYOff>n</textYOff>
<textXOff2>n</textXOff2>
<textYOff2>n</textYOff2>
in the music skin files for the albumview to swap their positions
