Hi every one I have been using XBMC until I recently found this really nice software. It has PVR support built in which is just what I'm looking for.
So I have a couple of questions
Client is fine I have an Revo but what OS should I put on there? Vista or W7?
As for a server I would like to build one, Hardware is not too much of a problem I just don't know what OS to use or how to protect all my data. Do I use raid 5? If so I would need a raid card as you cannot do software raid Vista or W7.
Are there any alternatives to raid 5? I have found this flexRAID Would it be any good?
I would put a Linux OS on the server and do software raid, but as I have a Revo i will have to keep my tuner cards in the server so that aint gonna work.
