Hi everyone, before I barf out the usual "I'm having this problem....", I would like to first say that I used to be a VMC user, but have taken the plunge into MP, and I must say I don't regret it for a second......granted, it has been brain-numbing at times, but I guess that's a part of learning how this all works. I wanted to say thanks to everyone who has helped me get to where I am, I've done a lot of reading and experimenting, and without all the hard work of you guys, I would be lost. A special thanks goes out to cybrmage for his iMON work, and and-81 for IRSS, and to the guy who made SAF as well.

Here are my specs:

Antec 430 with IMON VFD (installed..not running)
Athlon X2 5200+
GA-MA78GM using ATI on board video and Realtek onboard sound SPDIF out
4GB ram
Windows 7 beta 1
Mediaportal 1.0
IRSS 1.4.2 Test Build 2391

Before I would have had a few problems to ask about but now just one for now.....using IRSS with MP, when I hit the power button on my Harmony remote, it shuts everything off but the PC itself.....I guess it goes into hibernation or whatever....but never fully shuts down, and that's what I want it to do. I have played around with the MAP settings under the MPControl plugin with no success, and I can't find anything under IRSS that would deal with that. What comes up it the Action menu giving me the 4 choices, but I just want it to close and power down the PC. Any ideas on how I can do this? Of course, thanks in advance!

Spoke to soon....I also having trouble with the PowerDVD8 plugin as well, it does not respond to the remote, and exiting PDVD just leaves me at a empty desktop, with no MP...any clues to this one? Thanks again

Just an update; I have now switched back to using iMON, I just used a .imo file I found on this board that emulates a MCE remote with MP, since the Antec 430 version of iMON can only work with an MCE compatible remote. Then I added whatever commands were not there, like the BACK button for moving backwards in the menus, and the bonus is that when you use the PDVD8 plugin, iMON will control PDVD8 when it is focus, and I am still able to switch back to MP using the mentioned plugin. Now the only thing that is bothering me now is the fact that Blu-ray SPDIF surround audio always is lagging, and I have tried everything to get it to sync. Right now I have it just using LPCM, and the audio and video work perfect then....
