Codecs Power DVD 11 not available to MePo (1 Viewer)

I have installed Power DVD 11 (PDVD) but it doesn't show under the codecs section in Mepo. I tried to uninstall/reinstall Mepo and PDVD without success. After installing Power DVD 10 I have those codecs available, but no 11.

This is on Win 7 x64 with MEPo 1.2rc

Blame Cyberlink for that one - they no longer allow their codecs to be used in 3rd party software like MediaPortal.

Ahh ok... I was pulling my hair out last night trying different install combinations. I did some searching and saw other people reference 11 in their installs and thought I was doing something wrong. Thanks mm!

There is a workaround to import them and its posted here:

The only problem is that i find multiple CLCvd.ax files and i dont know what file to take. So basicly its trail and error until you find the correct one. If you have i running pls post your details

So i have tried to manually register this PDVD 11 codes, after that they are appears in system, but when I try to use them - watch livetv for example, MP crashing. Old PDVD codecs works fine (from v9 and v10) (win7HP x64)

Sebastiii, i have tried you configuration.exe file, but what exactly it do? With original MP 1.2.1 configuration.exe i was able to select PDVD11 codecs too, but when i try to watch livetv in MP it crashes.

This new config add setting to validate selection of DXVA, HAM and SW setting.
Maybe one on these setting can solve your issue .

From what I have read, 3 files need to be registered, otherwise it will not work, might be worthwhile getting this info from hoborg.
