power dvd codec problem (1 Viewer)

I have searched to no avail for this, I know I saw a mention of this several weeks ago but....,when using my tv with the powerdvd codec I get no tv-it gives a mpeg-2 pin error, and when ffdshow is selected, or any other codec it works perfectly-the problem is I need to use powerdvd for hd playback.
What gives with this problem and is there a fix?

You need TVE3 for HD.

Which "powerdvd codec" are you referring to? Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder or the CyberLink h264 Decoder?

What format of HD are you trying to playback - MPEG2 or H264 - if it is H264, then you must use TVE3. MPEG2 HD works fine with TVE2 and the CyberLink Video/SP Decoder ...

Um...not with the hdhomerun, it works fine with tv engine 2.
I have this sorted, did a fresh install and now cyberlink decoder is working fine again.
