Just read what tomtom21000 said, there's the answer. He wasn't banned because he's a user of whatever HTPC software. That's plain bullshit. We don't do such, why should we? We're open to everyone. As long as he behaves nicely. And that's what you all do, don't you?
If you like, tell him to get a new account and that he shouldn't let it expire. Easy like that.
(Btw, his account is from 11.02.2005, so it's most probable it was closed because of inactivity or because of a non-answered mail.)
Edit: He already seems to have a new account, so no reason to discuss it further.

Note: Also a non-confirmed registration email leads to a ban, of course. But that's just normal.

No ill intentions, I just found it humorous. I figured the ban was something along those lines and was just trying to help the kid out.
