Hey Micropolis,

thanks for this nice plugin. I really like it.

Before your plugin i was using also psshutdown so set my NAS into Hibernate. But there is Windows 7 running and it only works with
Username and Password.

It would be nice to Enter the Username and Password in your Config to set the PC into the hibernate.

I'm using the following string: C:\psshutdown.exe \\192.168.1.100 -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD -h

PowerControl plugin for MediaPortal v0.3.5

Dear community,
the updated version v0.3.5 of this plugin is ready for downloading.

Information for users:

• Wakeup port configuration added, new device type category
• reworked configuration dialog
• Network browser functionality added (currently only for information)
• Username/password addition for devices, pre-/post command addition for actions

Information for skinners:

• button “Network Browser” (ID 3) added
• button “Action Scheduler” ID changed to 4, button “Alive Check Scheduler” ID changed to 5

Thanks for this very fast update. Now it works perfectly to set my NAS into hibernate with Username and Password.

Hopefuly TGX will include this beautiful Plugin and create a Black Glass PowerControl.xml

EDIT: Just 4 info: It takes a long time if the CMD Window will be closed (i was running hibernate)

do you have started a defined action (manually) from the menu or do you use the appropriate button?
This information could be useful to identify the code path better.

i don't use any "Action"'s ... i was setting my NAS to hibernate with the Buttons.

Its not a big deal, because this windows is not in the front of MP ... this information was just a info.

But if you want i can investigate something for you ... tell me what to do

i tested the ps Tool, and it only works if i use the PC Name instead of the ip adresse.
Example: C:\psshutdown.exe \\FILE_SERVER -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD -h.
Perhaps you could implement the Option to use the PC Name instead of the IP Adresse?

Other suggsteion:
Perhaps you can give the user the option to set his own command lines for several Buttons. That gives the ability to use serveral apllications for shutdown, restart, etc.

Hello Micropolis,

Just installed your latest version via MP Installer (mpe1).
Seems like some buttons are missing (see attached pic).
Used skin is StreamedMP. As so far nobody else highlighted this, could be also a skin incompatibility? (TBC)

Update:
Had just an idea and checked the zip; icons are only copied to the BlueWide skin, not all the others. after manually providing them to the StreamedMP skin, everything is visible.
