Hi,

Is there any known way to deactivate powerscheduler from the commandline when you are doing maintenance?
Or is it possible to access this from a local app, like for example the toolbar.
I know this isnt possible right now, but would one have to use the ECPplugin to do this.

Scenario:
Admin login number 1: Running MP
Admin login number 2: Running PowerschedulerControlApp while doing maintenance and downloading.

    Hi Eloo,

I use the watchdog plugin for something similar to this. When I do maintenance I click on an icon called KeepMPAlive, in watchdog I have added this utility to the list of processes to watch and prevent suspend/hibernate. Then MP won't shutdown until I kill this app.

if you are using the TV3 engine you can also configure it to stay awake when a certain app is running. Set it to Notepad for example, then MP will not turn off as long as Notead is open.

    Noone is perfect :D

I use it a lot. I use Firefox as an external webbrowser so it checks for that to make sure MP doesn't suspend while I'm browsing the internet. And as I mentioned when in maintenance mode, or using a stand-alone DVD player like PowerDVD. I also use it for webepg.exe but I'm not sure if that is needed with TV3server since it can check for itself...
