Hi, I have a problem with my windows 7 based MP singleseat setup.

Powerscheduler doesnt seem to work - either going into standby or for wake(to record tv).
I left it on its home screen last night and it was still running this morning.

Ive set the windows power settings to high performance and also tried balanced.

Media center 7 standby/resume worked fine, its seems to be a MP thing.

Ive enabled the powerscheduler plugins in both MP and TV server and ticked the boxes- I did change the goto sleep time to 10 min.

The standby button on the remote works but then powerscheduler will not wake it up to record.

Got any idea of what I could try?

    thanks

    Hi datfreak,

As far as I'm aware, if you manually put your PC into standby, then the wake-up won't get scheduled for any recordings that need to happen, so you definitely need to get PowerScheduler working for standby/wake-up.

You need to upload your log files (covering the time when you're expecting PowerScheduler to put the PC to sleep), because unfortunately there's really no way of knowing what's happening on your PC without those.

    Cheers,
    Craig

Sorry , I know i should have put up the logs- will do soon.

Im wrong, Powerscheduler only doesnt work when I use the MCE standby button, so it probably is mc7 going to sleep before MC can set its wakeup.
All seems fine when I leave it on the homescreen, and it puts itself to bed.
A work around would be good but it isn't too big of drama as it is.
