I have my system set just as Jay_UK's and it works like a charm using the regular PS. After having installed PS++ it unfortunately doesn't suspend anymore (nothing else changed, so windows power management not set). In the logs I see lots of:

It seems to think that it wasn't on the home menu (only allow sleep on home menu is set), which it most certainly was. This is using Maya on both basic home and the ordinary home. If necessary, I'll try to find some time later tonight to post complete logs.
