Hi,

Sorry if this is a bit of a lame question, but where can I download Powerscheduler and some information about it?

I couldn't find it in the plugin section. It's referred to a lot in the forum, but I couldn't find any download information.

Thanks - I'll have a read. I want to know what happens if my PC has multiple user accounts, i.e. how Media Portal handles logging in when restarting from standby.

Also, if running a power saving mode, what does Media Portal do? Will my PC go to standby if the keyboard/mouse isn't touched for the specified amount of time (in Power options)?

Presumably there's some way to stop that, so I'll have a look in the documentation.

Multiple accounts shouldn't matter. As long as you have set windows so that it does not show the login screen on resume from standby (Power Options), when Windows resumes, it will just return to the same user account. MP doesn't have the ability to automatically log in to a certain account, but this should work around it.

For your second question, you can either tell MP to standby after a certain period of inactivity on the home screen, or use the windows power options. Note that if you use the windows power options, MP will not have control and therefore cannot prevent your computer from going into standby if its recording (I think...). I suggest you disable the windows power options.
