Presto doesn't recognise USB DAB+ after installing MP (1 Viewer)

Hi. I couldn't find anything obvious using search.

I installed Presto onto an XP SP3 system with an EASYCAP USB DVB-T / DAB+ (Realtek) device. DVT-B and digital radio both worked. I read various postings on other forums about Presto's unreliability, so I installed Media Portal.

I can watch DVB-T using MP, but could not get DAB+ working. I searched the forum and see that it isn't supported yet, which is a real shame. MP and a $20ish USB stick would be an awesome combination if it handled both.

I ran Presto to see if the digital radio still worked - because I didn't really mind having to use two applications if I had to, but Presto no longer recognises the device.

I tried installing VLC, but that doesn't seem to recognise it either.

Any suggestions on how I can get the digital radio working again?

If I re-install Presto, am I likely to cause problems for MP (because I assume MP removed the old driver for a reason)?

You are correct that MP doesn't support DAB yet. MP never removes drivers though!

TV Server requires exclusive access to tuners (as does any other similar application), and once it has used a tuner once it doesn't release it until you stop watching/recording (or until you restarted TV Server if you're using 1.2.0a and the pause graph setting). What am I saying? I'm saying that the reason why Presto no longer works may be that TV Server is holding on to a tuner...

You're absolutely correct.
I rebooted to make sure Presto started first, and the digital radio works. In hindsight it was obvious, and I should have tried that before posting.

The comment about the drivers being removed was because I saw a screen during the installation. It said something about obsolete drivers (or some similar wording) on the first line, so I assumed the obsolete drivers had been removed.
