I've opted for a very simple style (the same approach as a few other skins).

Even though I like fan art, I'm keeping it to a minimum.

These are just mock ups (done in adobe fireworks), and I've have only included a few selected screens from the design.

1) Basic Home
2) Movie - Coverflow
3) Movie - Listview
4) Music - Cover Grid
5) TV - Active Recording
6) TV - Recorded TV
7) TV - TV Guide
8) Movie - Selected movie Info.
9) OSD - Paused Media Screen, with action menu.

O yes, love it already! good idea with shortcuts at the bottom, i use logitech dinovo mini and that will be very helpful

Just adding a few more designs to the main post, this time for the TV section.

You'll have to ignore the menu for these screens, as they dont match what they should be showing.

So far mock ups, sorry for any confusion, but i'm just doing the layouts before looking at what MP is capable of. Hoping most of it will be do able.

looks nice so far - no inappropriate colors for the shortcuts which would destroy the fresh & clean view, instead the letters! also the different sizes of the font instead of any border around the active menuitem... i like it. i hope it can be done with mp as you wish it to look like
