Many thanks for the reply.
Using Windows Explorer: I have checked the number of .ts files on this HTPC, which currently totals 5150.
When these were last displayed in the Rec\Program-List there were less than 2000, but this will include Series-Folders that contain several episodes, so I guess that is where the other 3150 are.

Obviously, as I'm not a developer, so I can't access the above developer-link.
So it seems there's not much a user can do to rectify this problem?
Q: Is there a reason why the designers have set a limit of 5000?
Q: Can this be increased?

Above @CyberSimian suggested (as there is no way that a user can create folders on the fly)
of moving saved recordings to the video folder.
If possible: I would welcome a detailed example of how to do this?

PS: So does this mean that the developers are losing interest in MP?
