Problem / Bug on reinstalling app... (1 Viewer)

    Download and run ccleaner after uninstalling mediaportal\tvserver, delete any registry setting that may exist for MP, then go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Appdata\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal
    and delete everything there.

    Now reboot, all files\registry entries should be removed.

    Reinstall MP, then run MP, as Spragleknas said, if not configured config will open.

    Hi can you please advise on the URL for CCleaner since I don't see this under your download section.

    Can I ask is there this in the registry

    Do I just search MediaPortal is that the best way ?
    Where are the locations

    I have since unistalled MP, now I need the CCleaner so I go to step 2 please

    Google does not always have the answer... I would have thought you could have had a link pointing to the site... since there could be more than one descriptive CClears out there LOL

    It's Resolved !

    I did as required uninstalled app then CCleaner and the edited the Registery, however it does leave you a problem in that the removal tool it not fully functional... Saddly :-(

    Also I am able to play my movies as per normal now, no gitter which I believe was created by one of the too skins I loaded up...
