    Hi,

I'm having a problem matching the Futurama specials . I have Futurama matched using dvd order and series 1-4 were matched perfectly .

I have all of my episodes named - Futurama s01e01 , Futurama s01e02 ,Futurama s01e03 etc.

I have the Futurama specials named - Futurama s00e01 ,Futurama s00e02 Futurama s00e03 etc.

The 6 specials won't match using dvd order because on the TVDB.com (dvd order) they're listed as episode 1.0, 2.0,3.0 etc.

The specials are listed as 0x1 , 0x2 ,0x3 etc in aired order on the TVDB.com

    DVD order- Click here

If i set MyTVSeries to match using aired order the specials match perfectly but the rest of the episodes don't match .

    Aired order - Click here

Farscape season 5 - The Peacekeeper Wars has the same problem with dvd order .Click here The episodes are listed as season 5 episodes 1.1 & 1.2

Can the MY TVSeries plugin use the dvd order for the specials ?
What should I rename my special episodes to ?
Am I doing something wrong ?

Any help would be welcomed .

    Thanks.

The problem is that somebody forgot to edit in Season '0' on the special for the DVD order at thetvdb.com

The series however is locked, so you would have to communicate with the ppl at thetvdb.com to get that fixed. All they have to do is edit in "DVD Season" to be '0' for those 6 episodes.

It shows up easier when you view the 'All' list (in DVD Order view) @ Futurama: Complete Episode List

However what might work is the following naming scheme:

    Futurama S01E00
    Futurama S02E00
    Futurama S03E00
    etc.

    So try that first.

As last resort you can just use the manual importer. It will list these specials because it is unable to automatically process them, and when you edit each episode you simply select Futurama from the drop down box list and manually match them up with the specials.

Ohh and as far as Farscape (once again, use the 'All' view @ Farscape: Complete Episode List) those aren't specials.

It is simply "Farscape S05E01" and "Farscape S05E02" but on the DVD they are merged into a single episode with chapter support to jump straight to the 2nd half. That's why on the DVD order they are listed as S05E01.1 and S05E01.2.

If you have a single computerfile for that 2-parter, then the correct filename would be "Farscape S05E01-02", otherwise use the individual format as I described earlier.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply .

They were listed as season 0 before , but the mods changed it and locked the series . Now the tv series plugin can't match the episodes when using dvd order.

I also tried using the manual importer ,and pointed it at the correct episodes but it didn't bring in any episode info / episode image.

Is there any other way to get MyTV Series to match episodes/series correctly when episodes are listed as episode 1.0, 2.0,3.0 etc ?

Is it a bug ? Does nobody else use dvd order ?

You could plea with the thetvdb.com mods to make the changes. Otherwise your best bet is to either manually add all the info on the specials manually (at least you only have to do it once), or conform to Aired order by renaming all your files.

The manual selection should have worked though, I've used it myself a lot before I conformed my filenames to match with the thetvdb.com format. All the extra information is gathered, summary and screenshots included. Perhaps you have other issues going on, so I suggest adjusting MediaPortal into debug mode and post your log files, so that the problem might reveal itself.

Those log files will then also help the developers target any bug, especially if they unable to recreate the problem via what you explained so far.
