Problem on setup TV-server in MP1.1 (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I use MP1.02 for long time and now try to change to MP1.1 stable verison,

System : WINXP SP3
CPOU ATOM 330
Display Nvida
2G ram

First I clean clear the old MP1.02 and install the MP1.1
but I have problem on set up the MP1.1 TV server. When I user the one click install, It download the MYSQL5.1 but it stop and said
"ERROR on setup the password" and Quit.

Then I try useing manuel setup the database using single user, then install Microsoft SQLExpress, and it pass.

But When I first time setup the TV-server, it haven't as the user manuel said, it will ask me the "password"
and after setup, and run the MP, the TV service is not working and it said, error on connecting to TV server,

Can Anyone help?

Hi mcu2005, is this not a result of switching from Microsoft SQL to MySQL where the username has been changed from sa to root?

Hi,
I had reinstall a clear XP +SP3 on my ASRock ION330.
then I install all hotfix.

Then install MP1.1.1
in the TV server, I choose Single user.

finished the configuration. I run the TV-server config and it can scan all Channel.

But when I run the MP1.1.1
The TV function is not working. And said " TV-server connection is lost"

I had attached the log file. Can you help on it?

I had now installed the MP1.1
But I haven't set the EPG in the system.
It is because. if I add the EPG for my TV channel. It will have the same problem

Can I know why?

You should look into your database problem. It says in the logs "The database backend (provider SQLServer) could not be reached."

Thanks for your suggestion, But I found it is related to EPG grabbing, If I not Add the EPG grabbing for the TV channel, the TV function can run normally,
But If I add even one channel, they connection to TV server is loss. and the system will not working anymore.
I try to enter to TV server config and it will said the TV server not started.

And I must reinstall the MP1.1.1 again.

Is it the bug for MP1.1.1?

If I can't enable EPG, how can I record TV?
