I've got a MSI Titan 700 machine - VIA C7-D processor 2GHz - 1Gb memory - XP Professional 1.0.0.0 RC2
Theres no monitor attached at all - and its running to an s-video tv-out
I think I've got ffdshow installed properly - and playing some videos works fine - while others are highly 'banded' and have a gray background..

Thinking it might be something to do with the colourspaces etc - I tried (in the ffdshow config) to untick the YV12 - and it reboots my machine instead!

Any ideas?
(Videos play fine in vlc)

via S3 graphics just cannot cut it, you will never get MP to run and play video successfully without glitches, and no there is nothing you can do to make it work, without putting in a dedicated DX9\10 Graphics card.

    :sorry:
