Hallo all,

i am new here and i am trying to build an HTPC for our living room.
After a long search i have now all components together to build my HTPC.
Because using DVB-S/S2 i am trying MP instead of MCE and i can say, that i am very impressed about MP but i have a little problem and i hope that anyone can help me.
The problem is the autotune of my tt S2-3200.
Each time when i try „autotune“ i get the error message „configuration.exe has found a problem“ and the setup will close.

I have now the following questions:

1. Does anyone know the problem?
2. When no, where can i get the needed information to setup Astra by hand because i need 10 parameters.
3. How can i get the radio channels from DVB-S/S2 to „My Radio“?

I hope that anyone can help me.

Hallo,

have fixed the problem number 1 by deleting the channels on which MP hangs every time so that they will never be scaned any more.
This tip can be found in the German MP community.

Hallo,

do you get all the time the message "configuration.exe has found a problem" by the same frequency or after removing of this frequency from the file and directly by the next ones and so on? Removing frequencies from the file is only helpful when this error occures only by some frequencies.

regards

Bit of topic but anyway.

Have problem with Triax Multifocus/Skystar2 and autoscan.
On diseqc 1 > Thor, diseqc 2 > Sirius, diseqc 3 >Hotbird, diseqc 4 >Astra
When scanning for channels it finds total ca. 970 channels on Thor and Astra.
it MP does not find any channels on Sirius or Hotbird.

ProgDVB works perfect. finds a total off ca. 3700 channels.
So the hardware seams to work. Cos i can watch channels from Hotbird with ProgDVB.

Does anybody have a clue of what goes wrong?
