Satelite/CableTV Provider: Astra 19.2°E, Sirius 2/3 (DiSEqC Level 1)

Hi,

I've scanned the satellites with the autotune scan mechanism, but the result is unsatisfactory.

LNB#1: DiSEqC Level 1 A/A, Ku-Band, None, Astra 1C/1E...
LNB#2: DiSEqC Level 1 A/B, Ku-Band, None, Sirius 2/3 ...

Ku-Band Config: 9750, 11700, 10600 (Default values, what does it mean?)

I copied the entries as exactly as possible from my satellite receiver which works fine.

About 230 tv channels and about 80 radio channels get detected. But not the most common german tv bouquets (as f.ex. ARD).

Between two tries I scanned it with WinTV2000 (Hauppauge Software) and found about 860 tv and radio channels (all included I expected to find).

Can anyone help me what to do in media portal?

I think it's strange with signal strength/quality. At the beginning it's for a about a second 100%/60%, then long time 0/100 (where the channels are found), very short times 100/100 (no channels), then long time 100/0 (no channels too, I think here should be the missing channels).

From satellite receivers I'm used to have both between 50 and 80%.

Has anyone an explanation for that?

Thank you for your help in advance,
Johansson.

:D Christian.

, too. ;-)

I'm new here, does it make sense to set a link from the other thread to this one?

Solution for scanning problem: Problem with autotune scan (DVB-S)

Hello,

I have now installed the TVserver, svn 15142. There the scan crashed, but I found a thread where I got a solution:

Astra Transponder file causes the crash

Scan crashes no longer, more than 850 channels on Astra found (as expected).

:D noddy.
