Synopsis: Will not pick up any channels while autotuning (Australia - Melbourne).

I have recently done a reinstall of windows and have only just got mp back on there. I haven't been able to get autotuning to work since the reinstall. I have done a forum search and noticed that there were a few other people with a similar problem on the same TV card as me. I have tried using previous mp versions (0.2RC2 and 1.3) and the newest svn snapshot at the time of download, but none of them have been able to pick up the channels. Unfortunately I do not have a backup of the channels I can just import into mp. It would be great if someone could send me a backup of their channel file for Melbourne to test with or if anyone has any solutions to this.

I'm no expert...

Can you get TV with the Fusion Software?

It may be that you need to reinstall the software and drivers BEFORE you insert the card in the machine.

I had problems with my dual card and found that the instructions in the (confusing) manual had to be followed in the correct order.

Check out the instructions provided by Abraxus here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/viewtopic.php?t=16092

If you still have problems - send me a PM and I'll send any copies of my definition files you think might help.

I'm in Melbourne and can auto-tune all DVB-T stations.

Thanks for helping out AKALuke. Seems like the problem was that I was missing the WDM tuner driver as it wasn't installed by windows' hardware wizard. I just needed to install the whole package. It's now fixed.
