problem with Graphic card Asus EAH2400 XT 256MB (1 Viewer)

the first problem is that its showing its 512MB while its only 256MB, the other problem is when i run a film this film plays but not in color its green.

I installed the driver from CD with graphic card, its new i just shoped the card a week ago
along with (new P35 Mb from Gigabyte , Intel Core 2 Duo CPU 4500 2.2 GHZ and 2 GB ram , new power supply with 500 watts) all new.

installed windows xp ( clean installation ) on a new 160 gb harddisk that i bought two months ago i used it only to check it. tried a VCD film it worked ok since it dont dosent need codecs as other film format needs.

Installed K-Lite mega codec Full, and updated to windows media player 11 ( from Microsoft ) began trying to run other films with diffrent file formats such as AVI and so on.

Here come the problem the video is displayed but the picture is green.

Made another partition on same PC Same hard disk installed Vista and same codec pack eveything is normal and runs smoothly.

Went to asus web site downloaded the last update for graphic card ( Asus EAH2400 XT 256MB ) removed the old driver, removed the codec pack and the update to MP Ver11. started on the PC installed the new driver and codec pack and updated to MP 11 still have the same problem.


Please can anyone advice, i have sent an email to ASus but their respond was so poor.

Any help will be appreciated

    About the green color: Uninstall Asus Splendid
    Also: LAtest ATi drivers are reported to be not good with MP

    Thanks for your reply and it did work as you said many thanks again for you and this great forum, its even better than asus forum i posted my problem to their support but the answer was poor.
