Problem with Main Menu (1 Viewer)

Hey,

I´ve got a problem, my main menu isn´t from left to right (like every screenshot does look like)
Instead of it is from top to bottom. I can´t figure out why.

Please be gentle, I know I´m a MP noob, cause I build up my HTPC since two days but I won´t live without Media Portal anymore. This Prog kicks A§$.

This is what it looks like.

Oh, theres one more, my weather won´t work too, it says: Bad or missing query parameters in request.

I really checked the FAQ please hook me up.

you need to updated your version of Media portal

the newest svn can be found here

also to get the bar to go left to right, open up the configuration shortcut, click on general, then tick the box that says Start with Home Basic screen

(it's the top one)

that should be all you need to fix it.

thx 4 your advice omen,

first i tryed to hit the "Start with the basic home screen" button. This worked, but only till i move the mouse, then everything dissapeart (I´ve added a screenshot)

Then I tryed to update with the link you posted and after that nothing will work now If I want to start a movie or somethin, the screen turns black shortly and came back, but nothing more. How can I make the backup running again??

You have gone arrow up\down, not a good skin to use with a mouse.

ok, I tryed it, but with the keyboard, nothing works. Sorry for bein´ such a noob. :sorry:

click inside the screen once just to make sure windows picks it up as the current active program, then try pressing up once then left or right.

if that doesn't work, try pressing down once, then left or right.

I can't get the skin working. I have RC1 SVN 31-5-08 installed. I am getting no menu items to see on homescreen. when I don't use te basic screen I can see the menu vertical. When I got to my TV I am getting a ugly screen layout with parts of Blue Too backgrounds and icons... (i cleared the cache... no changes). any help?

i love aeon skin... it looks so nice...
is there any fix for the menu getting white (just like in RealDanyo Picture some posts above)? it kind of sucks if i want to quit mediaportal by using the mouse and clicking on the X... i can't do that in the mainmenu (cause it's getting white).
owuld be great if somebody could fix that problem
