Problem with opening Setup.vdproj in VS.NET Pro 2003 (1 Viewer)

I'm getting an error when trying to load the setup project with Visual Studio .Net Professional 2003. The error roughly says that there is a syntax error on line 1 of the vdproj file.

What components are required to be installed to open a vdproj file. I know that I didn't install all components when I install VS.NET and was hoping someone could guide me in the right direction.

use wincvs to get the sources
you probably are now using cygwin cvs or something like that
problem with those apps is they mess up the CR/LF
and then VS.NET 2003 cannot read them anymore
