i solved my probs with resolution. :) firstly, i searched for solution with powerstrip. i couldn't find exact settings for my tv set and didn't want to experiment too much with such complicated thing without any previous expirience. didn't want to fry my gpu or tv. this powerstrip thing is too much hit&miss for me. next, i searched for new nvidia drivers for my fanless N7600GS SILENT/HTD/256M. didn't update the drivers since htpc installation, and that was back in 2006. downloaded new 169.21 drivers (169.21_forceware_winxp_32bit_english_whql) and voila - there was a setting in nvidia control panel to add custom resolutions! i added manually 1360x768 since that is the resolution my tv set supports and that was it. now i have as closest full res on my LCD as it gets. hope this info will help some other noob like me ;) rgs, pirlone
