Hi folks! Im a little bit sad! :( I bought a DVB-S2 card(Technisat Skystar HD2) just to get one step further with my htpc! I plugged the card in and started Windows... then the driver-things came up, i chose the the right BDA-driver and the system freezes!:wtf: OK, reinstalled XP with SP3 installed the TV-card and after that installed the soundcard(aureon pci) with the open source cmedia-drivers! The Setup routine comes up and after a few seconds the PC freezes!:growl: The system runs rockstable with the tvcard allone and also with the soundcard allone! Both together and its the same wich order to install them -> freeze... As i can see its not a ressource conflict, the I/O Block and the IRQ are different! Any hints !? Thx in advance, Rob ps: Why do i want to use the aureon and not use the onboard sound ? Cause it can do all sampling rates and is not locked to the 48khz! So AC3 comes with 48khz and audi cd`s with 44,1 khz! With onboard sound all comes with 48khz and this is "totally wrong" for Hifi-plessure!
