Problem with start up (1 Viewer)

Hi

I installed MP onto my old pC and all was fine. I downloaded it now onto my new pc (Windows 7) and installed the moviong piscture and TV Series plugins as well as the MP Stream skin.

Now though when I try to open Media POrtal it takes me to Media Portal Configuration. This is whether I use the shortcut or open the program directly from the programs folder.

Does anyone know what might be wrong, have I somehow got the configuration program twice under 2 names? Also how can I fix it? I tried uinstalling but that doesn't seem to have helped,.

Hi there

Usually the mediaportal.exe program will start the config program if no configuration was done after FIRST install.
So make sure you start the configuration program and exit it with the OK button.
If that does not help, maybe the file (or directory) is read only to the program. Check that the user under which mediaportal is run, has full access to it.
