Hi, Timeshifting basically is just viewing regular TV with a circular buffer (so you can rewind, pause, ffwd TV). MP does timeshifting with the Microsoft Stream Buffer Engine (SBE) and comes with Windows XP by default. The reason that timeshifting doesn't start, is because MP is unable to create a directshow graph. A "graph" is a collection of directshow filters and components which should eventually connect the different pieces of hardware and software so that you can view TV. So, you'll need to find out why MP cannot create the graph for your TV card. The graph build is based on the entry in the capturecarddefinitions.xml for your tvcard - the entry you had to change earlier. So maybe reviewing the entry you updated there or posting the mediaportal.log hopefully reveals why it's not working. BTW, looking @ your support template shows that you've got a 2,4GHz processor. For software type cards at least a 2,8GHz processor is required so it's probably gonna be a difficult task to get it to run smoothly. That however doesn't explain why you're gettingthis message. Kind regards, Michel
