I have the following problem: When i used MP and the MyVideo (Movies) plugin to play videos, everything is fine until the movie is played in full window or full screen mode. Then there is no OSD at the top of the screen anynmore and it is not possible to pause, resume fast forward or rewind the movie with the remote. You can do nothing else than rightclick with the mouse to get to the previous screen, where you get movie infos and the litte movie window at the left bottom. There, the OSD at the top is back again and you can control the movie with the remote again. I tried to use different codes (MPV, ffdshow, Cyberlink) but everything gets u the same result. Has anyone a clue for this problem?

No control when playing video

I have the exact same problem, I am in the process of moving over from Beyond Media to media Portal, keyboard and remote work fine navigating basic interface, but as soon as a video is selected both the keyboard and mouse no longer send any commands and I cant start stop etc the video, have installed on two different systems and the same thing happens on both?

Are both of you using a genuine mce remote, shows up in device manager as ehome receiver.
have you got any other remote software installed, because I cannot create the problem here, back button and the rest working fine.

Is something stealing focus from MP, are you using a external player.
Cyberlink PowerDVD audio codec not best choice, ffdshow is far better for audio types.

Remote and keyboard not working during playback

Hmmm, on one system I am using the firefly remote that comes with Beyond TV, it works fine navigating the interface just onyl when a video is started does it and the keyoboard cease to function, the other system has no remote. I do have Cyberlink Power DVD on both systems, I wouldnt have thought that would be an issue as it is with DIVX files that I have been testing?
