Problems Recording TV (1 Viewer)

This doesn't relate only to Mediaportal since it's a problem I'm having recording TV in any software but perhaps you can help me anyway. I am using a Hauppage WinTV-HVR 950Q hybrid TV stick (USB-based) in my Windows 7 computer. It performs well when watching TV through Mediaportal but has problems recording. When I schedule a recording it records some of the program and then shuts down - stops recording - although the computer stays on. I can't figure out why this is happening. Perhaps someone else had the problem or knows of a way of fixing it and can help. I look forward to your reply.

Nevermind. Problem solved. I found the solution by hacking around inside MediaPortal.
