A new problem so a new thread I suppose. When using the Replacement Driver I have some problems restarting my system using the remote when it is in standby. Some times it won't start up at all using the remote, however I do see the LED flashing on the receiver. When I press the power button on the PC itself in this situation, the system starts up normally. In other situations, the PC does starts to reboot after I press the power button on the remote, but it immediately goes back into standby and Windows displays "preparing standby" (I don't know the exact formulation in English since I have a Dutch version of XP). When I use the standard windows driver these problems do not occur however I have a good reason for using the Replacement driver. The system audio is being amplified by an 5.1 amplifier. The volume of this set is being controlled by the remote using the IR-blaster to change volume up/down and Mute. This works fine however when I use the default driver it not only changes the amplifier volume but also the Windows volume setting, which is of course not what I want since it results in clumsy volume behavior. So any ideas to solve this problem?
