problems switching channels (2 Viewers)

MediaPortal Version: 1.0.0 RC3 client+server + IR Server suite 1.4.2
Windows Version: XP SP3
TV Card: hauppauge PVR150
Remote + IR Blaster: MS MCE


Hi,

I have just installed MediaPortal on a new machine.
I configured th channels, EPG and TV3 plugin.

The Test function in TV3 Plugin works fine, Blast the cable box and changes the channels.

I can't get the MP application to use the IR blaster to change channels when switching channels.

by looking in the IR server suite logs, I get the impression that the app isn't sending the blast command to the blaster.

I tried but didn't find any check-list to try and locate the cause.

is there a good troubleshooting guide or any idea for what the cause mite be ?

yes.
I've installed GB-PVR and it worked.
then I tried to make it work with MediaPortal.
I think that trying to update th device manager of the IR blaster made the difference (allthough the update failed, after booting the device started to work).
