Problems tuning to TV channels (1 Viewer)

That has been the bane of my htpc-related life for longer than I care to remember and it looks like it's now fixed. Just zapped through my whole channel list without one error for the first time in four years; please tell me forced PAT lookup hasn't been there all the time..
