Have you tried using the MPC-HC codec, or even the PowerDVD 9 codecs? My system is quite different to yours, but these work well for me.

I used to have some problems with audio track selection, but I thiknk using SAF 4.0 fixed that. The only strangeness I've seen since is with the DTS audio on 'Bronson' which causes hissing and stuttering at the beginning but is fine after 5 mins.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I have Pdvd8 and 9 codecs. was looking into the MPC-HC codec thing in the "bluray Handler" thread but the link for the codec took me to a page full of MPC stuff and I could'nt figure out what I needed to download or how it would install etc.
Also thought that SAF might be an easier option but when I went to download that it said I must be using MP RC1 or above but I'm on the current stable version. That means I'd have to start again with MP to use SAF cause cannot upgrade from stable to RC1.
I'd really like to get MP just playing them. It would even make my remote control use simpler.

Edit:- I'm going to see If I can work out MPC-HC standalone filter tonight and try that but I had another thought too which might help the original poster, (sorry for the hijack).
I assume DVDFab can transcode the HD audio tracks including DTS-MA back to DTS 5.1 Core or AC3 5.1. My decoder can not do HD audio formats anyway so it might be worth ripping bluray with a transcode of the audio to something more standard.
