I posted a recent request for help from anyone with Cinergy 1400 or 2400 DVB tuner cards. Appeared no one was able to help.

I seem to be getting many errors, despite using the latest Terratec drivers. The 1400 card simply won't view or record, despite using successfuly on a previous setup. DVBGraph: Waiting for tunerlock or something similar and just repeats throughout a recording.....

The 2400i seems to work, but not sure if there's problems surrounding the other Cinergy card. It appears to start some recordings late or acknowledge the time in the log, but forget about the recording.

ANY help someone can give me in sorting this would be great. The only problem I am having, other than a slow UI with the wide skin, but I've seen mention of this and assume it's being looked into.

Many thanks for your help!!!

    Hi moviebuff03,

Do you have any logs to share? Either from TV2E or TV3E, I'm not clear which one you are using.

I have a 2400i with the latest drivers from Terratec and it works without any problems what so ever. These drivers are from July this summer.

    Petsa,
    Many thanks for your reply.

I am aware of some people successfully running the card, so I cannot understand what my setup is lacking!

I've attached several logs, because I've tried changing the order of the tv cards etc. I am using TVE2. I also have the July driver loaded (which came with the card). 1.0.3.266 or something similar (not at my PVR right now).

2400i seems to record 'most' of the time, so I don't know if the 1400 card is obstructing the settings somehow, despite using a different driver. I should say that it might be the second tuner that's causing a problem, when the first card is also in record mode.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Moviebuff03,

I haven't had time to look at the logs and I am not an expert on TV-cards... But I think I remember a while back that XP had problems if you had more than one BDA card installed. I can't find the post now, perhaps someone of the more experience MP users can help?

    /Peter

The DVB patch is readily available on MP forums, but not required if as I have, XP MCE. My previous setup happily ran 3 tuners with BDA drivers.

Great idea, but not so sure.
