Hi all,
I was hoping for some advice on an issue I've had for the last couple weeks trying to get official MCE remotes to work. I have Xp on my main HTPC and bought an XP MCE remote to work with it but never got it to work but it had a built in IR revceiver in the case with a 3rd party appplication so ignored it and just used that. I've now put one in my bedroom with Vista basic (no MCE built in) on a normal laptop, so bought a Vista MCE remote with usb receiver. Like before, hardly any buttons work. Just navigation and play and volume I think. No back button or any functional play keys, rewind, next etc. I've ticked the box on MP congif and see its all mapped so how can I configure it to work? Im a bit of a beginner to MP and the remote setup seems a bit above my level of tech-savvy! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
