After about 50! install and uninstall in different modes, i believe there is more than an operator problem.

Dedicated HTPC:
Op-sys: Windows XP MCE 2005 SP3
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA69VM-S2
CPU: AMD Athlon 64x2 4000+
Memory: 2x2GB DDR2 PC6400
HD: 1TB
Graphic: Geforce 8500GT
TV-Cards: LeadTek WinFast TV2000XP Expert (analog)
Hauppauge WinTV-PVR150 (analog)

Problem: I can't get MP to recognize any TV-Cards, everything works fine in Win-MCE mode, I can see and record TV without trouble (I believe all drivers are OK). I'd like to use MP and be able to record/see 2 channels at once.

-Some times there is a quick error-message about TV-mapping, but I can't read it before it disappears.
-Also I strongly suspect there is some old installations of SQL/MySQL/TV-Server (tried them all) that gives me problems - is there any way of REALLY starting from scratch without reloading the whole system?
-Very often I get an MS-Windows-error to report to Microsoft (newer tells what kind of problem...)
-I'm very disappointed of frequently crashes of MP - I have a strong feeling it is depending on a bad build (not as fast as i expected), and the frequent reloadings.

I'm really Grateful for help, so lets take one problem at the time...

I don't see what MP version you had installed or tried to install. If you were like me you tried every one of them. I'm in no way an expert in MediaPortal but I do have a working PVR-150mce card in one of my systems that has 1.1alpha installed. TV Server config shows two devices one for TV and one for radio. I have it connected to a STB via composite so the channel shows up as cvbs#1. I think if TV Server configuration loads then some version of SQL is installed. I've had better luck reinstalling MySql than SQL Server. One thing you can try is uninstall MediaPortal and MP TV server and any skins which may have been installed with the Windows installer. Uninstall all SQL programs then physically delete all the directories for Mediaportal which are under Program Files\Team Mediaportal and Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team Mediaportal. Just for Kicks...have you disabled the MCE functions in 2005? I'm just running plain ole XP but could MCE be "Stealing" your tuners?

I have allready done all your suggestions, with no success (I will try again later if no better suggestions are provided).

My version of MP is 1.0.2, I tried others also with same result...

The reason i swiched from XP to MCE = now I can somehow watch/record recorded TV-programs (It's easier with MCE than with XP original)

    Thanks'
