Must i use the patched configuration.exe to use this plugin?
I am always updating to the latest SVN and so i cannot use the patched configuration.exe :-(

First off, this is not really a plugin. It is just a patched configuration.exe that has better support for importing DVD Profiler XML files. I did not want to give anybody the wrong impression. :) MyMovies Assistant will assist in adding path information to the XML file, if you need that.

I recommend you rename your current configuration.exe to configuration_original.exe and put this one in place of it. Run MP configuration to access the added import features to import your DVD Profiler XML file. Then rename this version to configuration_custom.exe. Finally, rename you configuration_original.exe back to configuration.exe so that you have the latest configuration in use for everything else.

If you get any errors, I may have to update it to the latest SVN, but it is not too many versions behind RC3. Hope it works well for you.

    Try placing the images in C:\Program Files\InterVocative Software\DVD Profiler\Images

If it does not find the images, it should prompt you with a browser window to located the directory with the images. The XML file can be located anywhere because you have to browse for it. Let me know if it works for you.

I've tried it, but with no success :-(

I have copied the Images in the Folder C:\Program Files\InterVocative Software\DVD Profiler\Images and also in the Folder C:\Programme\etc.. !

After import theres no images in the Folder thumbs/videos!

There comes no prompt up... the import starts without prompting for the images...

Are you using the custom configuration.exe that I included in the first post? If not, try it with that custom configuration.exe. Then, after the import put the original configuration.exe back in place. Also, you have to check "DVD Profiler Options" above the import button and then check the "Copy Images" button. You can see the screenshot in one of the post. If it still does not work, I may need to update it with the latest MP source.

Hopefully this will work for you.

    I use this EXE:
    MP Patch for 0.2.3.0 RC2 + Latest SVNs (10-14-2007).zip

I click on DVD Profiler Options and Import Images.
Then i click on import and select the XML file.
The Import starts but with no images :-(

So, it just finishes the import and there are no images afterwards? Are the images from DVD Profiler? It tries to match the disc ID with the image name for each movie. What version of DVD Profiler are you using?

The name of the images should be in a format similar to "9736321474f.jpg" I will look through the code to see if I missed something. In the meantime, can you verify the image names are in a similar format and the version of DVD Profiler that you use? Also, when you select different movies in the drop-down list on the import page an image still does not show up?

    Thanks

Yes, there no images after import finished.
The images are from DVD Profiler and the format is for example 0678149090628.5b and 0678149090628.5f.
On the last position there are an b or and f. b stands for back and f for front cover.

On the HTPC i have not installed DVD Profiler, only on my work pc.
So i copy the images from the work pc to the HTPC pc.

When i select different movies in the drop down list i see no picture...

My DVD Profiler Version is 3.0.3

Can you clarify that your filenames are like "0678149090628.5b" and not "06781490906285b"? If so that is the problem. All of my files do not have a period (.) in the name except for the extensions. I can add support for that, but I would like to understand it first if that is the case.

Also, can you check "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Videos\Title" to see if it copied any images there with the movie name or if it is just blank?

    Thanks

All my images have an (.) before b or f.
In the thumbs/video/titel folder theres no images...

I have tested it again with renaming the files without an (.) before b or f.
    But with no success :-(

After import i have all movies in the database, but no cover in thumbs/video/title...

Must DVD Profiler installed on the HTPC?
How find you the folder for the images? Is this a hardcoded folder or should the import popup an folder selection?
