Is it possible to record a program in TV from e. g. EPG when you are absent? It is necessary that the PC is on? It is necessary that the program is called / active during recording? Can the PC be in the in the state of saving energy or the PC hybernate (is there a possibility to start it in time before recording?)? Does the program warn if you see another channel? Or if you have two antennas the program manage the use of it?

Yes, of course.

No. The PC is waking up in time on its own.

I am not sure what you mean by this.

As above: the PC will wake up from any energy saving state, be it standby or hibernate and begin recording in time.

Does the program warn if you see another channel? Or if you have two antennas the program manage the use of it?

By default recording is having a higher priority than watching TV. For example if you have only one tuner, Live TV will be kicked when a scheduled recording is starting. If you have more than one tuner, Live TV is not affected and recording is performed by the next available free tuner.

The TVServer element needs to be running - this is installed as autostart component on the machine your using as the Server, the MePo client [which can be same machine or different one] does NOT need to be running.
