Not that it's offensive, I believe it's just a bit much is all.I am a little surprised also at the reaction to some who chose the stable build over SVN builds. IMHO, I do not think they should be chastised or looked down upon for wanting a stable build to work with an updated skin, in most cases new features in the skin just wont be there, which is fine if it all works for the user the way he/she wants. Some people don't feel comfortable with the nightly builds, which is ok...it's their machine.I run SVN on this comp, but my HTPC has the stable build, and rightly so, it never fails me as some SVN's have, and with keeping the WAF factor in mind....I cannot introduce potential problems to that machine that she cannot deal with easily. I'm sure many of us have similar concerns, or restrictions that we have to deal with.Making someone feel dumb for not using the SVN when all they want is an updated skin (which only needs the version trick to work btw) is self-defeating from a community standpoint.:sorry: Personally, I felt the version trick should have been a sticky post so that it's easier to find for those who choose to use MP in this fashion until the next stable build appears.Or perhaps, explain the fallbacks of using an updated skin with the older builds so that the user can make an informed choice. That's if there are any, I have yet to really find one myself, my most noted problems are using older installed skins with newer SVNs, which wouldn't be the case here.Harley did an amazing job with this skin, and I think he deserves more support if we are to experience more of his great skins, I find them to be the best MP has to offer save a few others, I just wish PM3 was widescreen haha. no biggy, it does just fine in 16:9 anyway.Just my 2 cents....thx for reading/end rant</blockquote>
