Could you add a function to mediaportal to check when you shut down the software if a recording is in progress and if so, display a prompt to verify if you really want to exit media portal?? Cause ive lost a few recordings now by mistakingly closing MP without realizing a recording was in progress.

thanx

Callifo is correct in saying that MP will ask you if you really want to quit when mp is recording and open. However, if is it minimized and you right click on the icon and click exit, it will close without telling you that you are recording something. I have suggested a different Icon in the task bar to let you know something is recording or have a window pop up.

ahh.. ok thanx... i am stuck using cvs-01-29-2006--13-36 because after this build, MP doesn't seem to see my capture card anymore. I posted a bug report about that yesterday. I hope they can fix that soon.

Have you tried installing a new CVS but keeping your old CaptureCardDefinitions xml file? I would guess that drivers or something has changed, so the definition for your card has been changed since then. You can check this by comparing the information in the above xml file to how the graph gets built in graphedit.

Thanx for the suggestion. It sounded logical so i gave it a shot. Unfortunetly, it still doesn't work. IT still tells me know tv card is installed in MP, and when i go into config to re-add it, the setup tells me it cant find any cards present. So something must have changed in a dll somewhere. I guess i'll just have to wait for a fix. :)
