I read thoroughly all the hackings required to work media portal under an authenticated proxy.
1) I first tried changing the machine.config files but it did not work for 1.1 and 2 .NET set ups
2) SEt up with proxycfg and nothing
3) Used the final hacking stuff using the PAROS local proxy with the following set up:
external proxy my proxy with user and password for authentication
then local proxy with port 8080
then in Internet options indicate the proxy this local proxy
But it does not work
Any hints
Cheers
Carlos
