PS3 recordings not playing in MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

Hi All

I have put some PS3 recordings on my new mediaportal installation. Allthough the files play OK in Windows 7 Media player they don't play in MediaPortal. Do i have to configure Mediaportal in some way to get it to play back the file?

I have the video decoder set to Windows DTV-DVD Video-Decoder and i have tried the default mts codec.

I get a message Unable to play: [Movie name] Video Codec: Mpeg video version 2 Audio codec Mpeg audio version 1 layer 2

Any help would be great!

Hi All

I managed to resolve my problem by installing the original SAF4 codec bundle. PS3 recordings from PlayTV now play fine.

Don't own PS3, but mpeg2 should be supported natively by using the windows codecs
