I have installed MP 1.12 on my HTPC that previously was running WMC and I am unable to find channels through the MP Server config app.

My current setup is a W7 64Bit Pro with a HDHomerun Prime. I have a multi stream cable card from my carrier Verizon FIOS.

I have removed the firewalls on the HTPC and can see the 3 turners for the Cable Card. When I do a digital cable search on those tuners it tells me that no channels are found (However I can view them in HDHomerun software).

The setup tv logs would tell everyone more...
This shows there are errors but not how the TV side is setup or errors associated with it.

sorry i am very new to media portal but hopeful you guys will lead me in the right path. i really want to get ride of wmc.

From the looks of it so far, it is locating a lot of channels.
You can click on channels while the scan is happening to see the list.

I am able to find them if i do a QAM Standard search however most of the channels come up as unknown

Brian, as explained in the wiki, the "clear QAM cable" scan mode is for use with clear QAM tuners (ie. tuners that don't have a CableCARD).

You should delete all channels and start over. I recommend you follow the guide here if you need step by step instructions:

Right however when I run digital cable scan it finds all the channels then all the channels are red in the channels tab.

...and that's a problem because?

Red just means the channels are encrypted (which they actually are). As the wiki and walkthrough say: enable "CAM" and set decrypt limit to 1. That will tell TV Server that your tuners can tune encrypted channels.
