Hello! I am trying to start my slideshow with a single push on a RC button. I use a x10 remote control and in the mapping menu I can assign "Window" - "Slideshow" to let´s say the yellow button. But all I get after pressing that buttun is a black fullscreen. Entering the slideshow via "pictures" - "slideshow" works fine. Anyone has an idea what is going wrong? :D

I'm no expert on this stuff so wait till someone who know more than me gets back to you... but I have remapped my Firefly remote to work with "My Pictures"...
It might not be able to go directly to Slide Show because Slide Show needs a file to display so if you go right there it does not know what folder to run slideshow on.

The way I do it is go to my pictures. This opens in a file list. You can then select Slideshow and it will work.

If you'd like I can dig up my mappings...
I set "My Pictures" to use the "right" button to go to the next picture, the "Left" button to go to the previous picture. The Channel Up and down to zoom in and out and the option button to display full screen. (because it won't go right or left if it is zoomed) And of course, you can use the "menu" button to bring up the options screen to select slideshow whenever a picture is displayed.

Thanks a lot PastorVor! I am doing it pretty much the same way as you.
Lazy as I am and since there is a possiblity to map "window" "slideshow" I´d really love to start the slideshow in a certain folder with just one click on the remote. Maybe someone knows how?
