Hi, I have a Hauppaguge PVR150 TV-card, and have been using MP RC3 and the build-in-TV-plug-in. I'm very happy with the result, everything is working, and the picture quality is really good.

But, now I want to upgrade to MP1 final - and I have to decide whether I should jump on the TV-Server or stay with the build-in TV-engine?

I use the HTPC as a Single-seat configuration, so I don't miss the server capability.

Could you please share your experiences/recommendations, should I go for the TV-server or stay with the build-in-TV-engine?

Thanks
Steen

Not 100 % sure, but if you use the quality control for TVServer w/100 % + VBR (I think). PQ is as good as I remember it to be w/TVE2.

TVE2 should be ditched IMO. Only + for TVE2 is including TS-buffer in recording. I remember making "the switch" due to AV-sync issues with TVE2.
