Hi Forum,
I would like to know if someone could point me to some more detailed information about the following:
- How is service and device discovery between several tv server instances done? Is it by any chance based on UPnP?
- How is data streamed from tv servers to clients? I read something about RTSP, so is it save to assume that you're using RTSP on top of RTP?
- I assume that a scheduled recording is actually stored on the backend, isn't it? If so: are recordings stored redundantly on slave tv servers (to prevent data loss in case of harddisc crashes)? If so:
- How is the stream distributed (Unicast, multicast)?
Sorry if I'm asking something obvious but I couldn't find any information in the latest SVN and the wiki.
