Question about recordings (1 Viewer)

If anyone can answer this question i have, if i have a scheduled recording to go off at a set time but i dont' actually have myTV running say i have it sitting on the main screen or in myMusic will it automatically kick in the tv module and start recording automatically ? or does the TV part have to be running in order for recordings to work automatically?

It starts recording regardless of which part of media portal you are in

It is also possible with the use of a plugin to get your machine to come out of hibernation to record the program and then go back into hibernation again after it has finished recording.

I think the plugin was PVR-Scheduler or something like that, but don't quote me on that.

o that is sweet, thanks Teebor, i just tried the Web interface to schedule recordings from here at work when i'm not at home, its damn sweet, well done to the devs who did that part, cause that rocks
